We’re able to support people with a range of different abilities to try climbing.
Looking for an inclusive way to introduce people to climbing?
We are incredibly proud to be able to offer everybody, regardless of ability/disability, the opportunity to try climbing in a way that meets their needs. We regularly work with special needs schools, disability charities and groups.
Accessible climbing wall hire.
We like to have a chat and make a quick assessment of anybody that would like to try climbing so we can figure out the best way for them to attempt to scale the wall.
This could be anything from a traditional harness with additional roped support, through to our ‘para harness' suitable for wheelchair users. If you want to get to the top, we can probably get you there.
We are flexible in the way we can set up our climbing wall and can run a combination of different systems that can allow able-bodied and disabled users to climb side-by-side.
We have a team of instructors, several of which are past or present GB paraclimbers who bring their unique experiences of disability to assist others and provide guidance on how to get further involved in the sport.
There is no extra charge for our accessible climbing equipment and we usually bring a small amount of equipment with us to school/group climbing sessions. Find out more about what we have to offer these groups by looking at our main climbing wall page.
